Mary is moving on to the big 55 and wants to celebrate with YOU! And since every great party has its presents, Mary is asking you to bring a pair of socks (new ones!) to donate to a local charity.
Why socks? Because everyone should have a new pair of socks! Athletic, fuzzy, fashionable, wool, knee high, men's, women's, children's. It doesn't matter! Bring one pair or a whole pack. Mary will make sure they get delivered.
