Cleanses claim to detox the body, aid weight loss, improve skin health, and other sensational claims. Our organs work to detox our body naturally. There is no one food or regimented diet that can deliver on these promises. Some cleanses, diets, and supplements may be harmful. For example, some supplements may interfere with prescription medications. Talk to your doctor or registered dietitian before taking any supplements or following a diet.
