Tyler Bussell is a student at Merrimack College pursuing a BS in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and a minor in Psychology. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer here at Cedardale Health + Fitness instructing 1:1s, semi-private training, and group training. Furthermore, he coaches jumps/multis for both Boys and Girls Track and Field at North Andover High School.

After receiving his BS in Exercise Science, he plans on pursuing a Masters in the same field. As of recent endeavors, he is studying for the NSCA TSAC-F and hopes to develop programs and coach tactical populations (police force, firefighters, military personnel). Alongside, he is studying for PN1 SSR (sleep, stress management, and recovery) to become a Certified SSR Coach as he is fascinated by the correlation between mind and body, and constantly emphasizes the importance of sleep and recovery.

He has done a lot of work with injury prevention and mobility/flexibility restrictions, looking from the lens of a functional standpoint. He has worked with a plethora of injuries and hopes that he can be a resource to improve quality of life and build confidence as you step into the health and fitness world! His overall big dream, however, is to inspire people. To inspire change in a positive way, one day and one person at a time. He hopes to show people that it is possible to break through those tough mental barriers, and that you have the power to build confidence, passion, and determination by focusing on the things you can control. He hopes to show people that you can shape the path and journey you want, not those negative thoughts and outside factors that try to hold you back - and to show the true empowerment of mind and body.
