Personal Trainer

Cedardale Health & Fitness is currently seeking experienced Certified Personal Trainers who are highly motivated and willing to work with other trainers and coaches to broaden their skill set. We are looking for people with a passion for fitness and improving members' quality of life.

Cedardale Personal Trainers have access to thousands of members and state of the art equipment. We are seeking fitness professionals that are willing and ready to work, learn, and grow with us.

Identify the clients’ fitness level and health prior to beginning an exercise program
Track clients’ physical progress through periodic InBody scans and other physical assessments
Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries or health issues
Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely
Refer to and promote fitness packages and plans, as well as other offerings at Cedardale, including nutrition and racquet sports

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role
Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs
Ability to instruct, motivate, and design periodized programming for people
Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions
Excellent communication skills
Teamwork
Available to work on early or late shifts and weekends as needed
Nationally recognized training certification
CPR and AED certified
Degree in Kinesiology/Sports Science or specialized certification is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
