Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe Series: Lightened Up Apple Pie

Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe Series - Lightened Up Apple Crisp

By: Samantha McCarthy MS, RD/LDN

My final recipe for Thanksgiving is, of course, dessert. We can’t forget about the most important course right? If you are like me, I’m not a huge pie person. Traditional Thanksgiving desserts just don’t do it for me. If I’m going to have to dessert, it better be something worth my calories. This Lightened Up Apple Crisp recipe from Spark Recipes is definitely worth my calories. I’m not a big sweets person (I love salt though), but this dessert hits the spot for me. It’s not too heavy after a large Thanksgiving meal, but feels indulgent. On top of that, it’s easy! Enjoy :)
