aMAZEment Attendant
Cedarland aMAZEment Action Playcenter - Haverhill, MA
Cedardale Health & Fitness, the largest multipurpose health, fitness, and wellness club in the Merrimack Valley, is looking for an Amazement Attendant with excellent organizational skills, time management skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail that will thrive in a team environment.
The Amazement Attendant works alongside full-time faculty and seasonal staff to ensure children are following the rules and regulations of the Amazement Center while having the best experience. Candidates must enjoy being in the company of children, have good communication skills, and have an outgoing personality.
Position Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Facility operation,
- Food and Beverage set up and serving
- Handle customer cash payments
- Host Birthday Parties
- Handle phone responsibilities
- Maintain a productive and positive dynamic with staff, parents, and children
- Participate in Special Events when needed
- Administer first aid in the event of an injury, and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary
- Ensure the cleanliness of the site
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- ●Preferably 16 years of age, or 15 with a worker’s permit
- ●American Red Cross CPR and AED training (preferred)
- ●Previous work experience in the service industry (preferred)
- ●Experience working with adults and children
- ●Must be willing to get licensed/trained in Inflatable operations, rock climbing,
minor batting cage repair
*Due to the nature of the business in this department, (business is concentrated
towards weekends), the Supervisor will be expected to be available for weekend
shifts, school vacation weeks and Holidays
